Electro-Harmonix is coming out with even more new pedals in the coming month or two. It seems like they come out with a couple new pedals every couple of months, but hey - people don't seem to mind it!
The two pedals coming out in the next 1-2 months should be in my opinion HUGE hits. The first is the:
Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Boy Analog Delay w/Tap Tempo
This takes the newly released and very popular Memory Boy and adds some controls and features that make it an unbelievably practical and powerful pedal. The tap tempo feature is the best feature in my opinion, but the added EFX loop and more in depth controls are great additions too. Combine that with a street price that's very attractive and I think EHX has another huge hit with the Deluxe Memory Boy.
This is expected to be released sometime in January 2010. If you're interested in one we're
taking pre-orders.
Price: $179.25 (free shipping in the USA).
The other great pedal coming out in early December is based on another recent release that's been hugely popular as well.
Electro-Harmonix Iron Lung VocoderThe Iron Lung takes some of the basic features from the EHX V256 Vocoder and puts it into a Nano sized housing. If you want just a basic vocoder with killer quality tones in a compact housing there is nothing else on the market that fits the bill. The Iron Lung features the same 256 band processing as the V256 and gives you three controls (including Gender Bender).
This is expected in by early December. If you're interested in ordering as a
pre-order click here. We can't guarantee that they'll be in in time for a Christmas gift, but it's looking like we'll be able to get them out in time for that if you did want to give one to that special musician in your life!
Price: $144.75 (free shipping in the USA)
